Students wishing to improve their singing technique can have private singing lessons. This will help improve breathing techniques, confidence and performance. The price for private singing lessons per half hour is £17.
There are opportunities for students aged 13+ yrs to assist at Mini Theatre School and 1st Stage and gain valuable work experience.
An absolutely essential part of a student education. LTS organises one or two theatre outing per year. Concessionary rates are offered to the students and represent excellent value.
Safe Guarding Policy
At Lafour Theatre School, children’s health, safety and welfare our priority and we take our staff take responsibilty for this very seriously. It is ensured all of our teachers hold a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and are regularly trained in safeguarding and Child Protection materials. At least one member of staff on site is first aid trained incase of emergency.
Our Policy:
At Lafour Theatre School we are committed to safeguarding children and have clear policies and procedures in place in line with local and national legislation. These place a duty upon every member of staff who has contact with children in their role to safeguard and promote their welfare. We always have a point of contact for the children to ask for support and guidance for any concerns. The School is committed to ensuring child safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Lafour Theatre School has a statutory duty to “safeguard and promote the welfare of children”. If you have any concerns about the health and safety of a child at any of our sites or feel that something may be troubling them, you should share this information our Tutors as soon as possible, by recording your concerns in an appropriate form. If you think the matter is very serious and may be related to a child protection concern, where the child has been harmed or is at risk of harm e.g. physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect, you must talk to one of us Immediately.
